oneRaven is

My name is Kim Hálás, and I'm oneRaven.
Having spent a majority of my life hunting for my passion, I have accumulated a breadth of skills seldom found in technical fields. On the other hand, my technical skills are also seldom found in the more creative fields of design. Despite the endeavor, there has always been an underlying desire and aptitude for writing, regardless of the topic or style.

I created oneRaven as the synthesis of all of the knowledge I have acquired over the past couple of decades. I started out my journey wanting to follow in my father's footsteps in real estate. I obtained the credentials after two years of business and real estate classes. During that time, I also had my first formal introduction to graphic design and video production working as an assistant at a small firm. I wrote copy for high-end listings for real estate professionals nationwide, and produced "videos" from the still photographs they would send us.
My career in real estate didn't last, however, as the recession in 2007-2008 all but destroyed my chances of being successful in an already-saturated field. After some time delivering pizza, I decided to enlist in the U.S. Army as an Intelligence Analyst. During my training, I received an Associate's in Intelligence Operations. I spent 3 years briefing my command as to the "enemy condition", and writing, writing, writing.
I was released in 2011 with medical retirement, and used the benefits the military offers to attend the University of Nevada-Reno. I now hold a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering, and have spent several years working as a Project Engineer for civil engineering firms here in Wyoming.

My graphic and web design skills, as well as several programming languages, are self-taught. I enjoy the creative aspect and the challenge. I won't just sign you up for WordPress and drag and drop elements within a pretty user interface. Be wary of "developers" who can't code in HTML or CSS. I'm sure those businesses and individuals are talented in design, but in my opinion, their rates aren't exactly worth their expertise, nor your dollar.
I currently reside in beautiful northwest Wyoming with my two German Shepherds and a little cat who thinks he's a Shepherd. Most of my spare time is spent rockhounding and playing in our vast expanses and hills, or tinkering in the garage and welding. I also dabble in photography; mostly landscapes and black/white still life.

Let me show you what versatility and a different perspective can bring to your project.
